Spurr And Scotland Linked

Town have been linked with moves for Sheffield Wednesday left-back Tommy Spurr and Swansea striker Jason Scotland. Since making his Owls' debut in 2006 against Reading, Spurr has gone to establish himself as a left back at Hillsborough despite playing most if his youth and reserve team football as a centre back. 20-year-old Spurr has been linked with moves to a number of Championship clubs but is contracted to Wednesday until 2009.

Swansea City striker Jason Scotland is the 2nd highest scorer in League One, with his 16 goals contributing to Swansea being 8 points clear at the top of the league, he has got 21 goals for Swansea in all competitions this season. However it is highly unlikely that the Welsh side will let him go with such an important part of the season coming up, he is also contracted until 2009.

There's no chance he'll leave now due to our lack of striker finishing etc.

For some reason he's not a fan favourite down here and it wouldn't surprise me to see him leave in the summer.
