Roberts Loaned To Crewe

Town midfielder Gary Roberts has joined League One strugglers Crewe Alexander on a month long loan. Roberts has fallen out of favour at Town this season and the arrival of Alan Quinn and David Norris will not have helped his chances of returning to the first team at Portman Road so he has decided to join Crewe, the club where he started his footballing career, on-loan for a month.

The 23-year-old made his debut for Crewe in their 1-0 win against Leyton Orient last night.
