'The Owls' were founded in 1867 and play their home games at the 39,814 capacity, Hillsborough Stadium. They have won 4 league titles, 3 FA Cups and one League Cup in their 140 Year history, although the League Cup win is their only trophy win since World War 2.
Managed by Brian Laws they finished an impressive 9th in the table last season, but started this league campaign awful, losing 4-1 to Town on the opening day and the going a further 5 games pointless saw Wednesday propping up the early League ladder. They have struggled all season but a confidence boosting win against their steel city rivals 2 weeks ago saw Wednesday pull clear of the relegation zone, although they were brought back down to earth on Tuesday night losing 2-1 at Wolves. They currently sit 21st in the Championship, 11 points behind a wobbling 10th placed Town side.
*match fact* This is Town first chance of 'doing the double' over any team this season after beating The Owls 4-1 0n the opening day at Portman Road.

Leggi predicts: Why o why am I going to this game I'll never know. Torture maybe. Looking at Wednesday's position in the table we should easily win this, but I have said that many many times before this season and we have failed miserably. Jim will probably play Pablo up-front on his own again and, there goes any hope of our first away win. Wednesday will probably just stay up this season and this is where Jim has got to change is negative away tactics, he must play Lee and Pablo up front if we have any chance of winning this, and I can't see him doing it. We'll lose (again) 2-0.
