Town have completed the signing of Macedonian international midfielder Velice Sumulikoski from Turkish side Bursaspor. The 26-year-old has signed a two and half year deal that will keep him at Portman Road until 2010, in that time he wants to play in the Premiership with Town.

Velice: "The people here have made me feel very welcome, the manager, the Chairman, and the other players, I am looking forward to playing for Ipswich and I have come here to help the team win a place in the Premier League.

"I have watched English football for many years and it has always been my dream to play in this country. It is also my ambition to play in the Premier League and I want to do that with Ipswich.

"I know something about the club's history and know that Ipswich were in the Premier League not so many years ago. I have been looking at the Club on the internet and talking to people over here and it is the right move for me.

"I have played against England four times, once at Southampton (St Mary's and once at Manchester (Old Trafford) and the fans were amazing those times. That also helped me make up my mind that I wanted to come to England."

Meanwhile the local press is reporting that Plymouth midfielder David Norris will join Town on either a cash only deal worth £2.25million or on-loan with a view to a permanent deal in the summer transfer window.
