Town's unbeaten home run in the league was continued against Plymouth earlier this evening, but it was more two points dropped then one gained. Not a bad game as such, rather a well drilled although sometimes wayward defence being up against a good attack. Town were by far the better side in both halves having more possession and more shots on target then Plymouth had in total.

Although the visitors did have very good chance to take the lead from the penalty spot after Dan Harding was adjudged to have handled the ball, but Neil Alexander guessed the right way and parried the ball to safety.

Pablo Counago hit the post, two headers were cleared off the line by Plymouth defenders from the same set piece, Jon Walters had an effort put just round the post off the finger tips of the Plymouth ‘keeper, new boy Alan Quinn also had chances to score on his Town debut.
