Town defender Luis Sito wants to keep his place in the Town line up and not experience having to train away from the first team again. Sito looked almost certain to be leaving Portman Road in the summer as he hadn't played at all for Town this season until just before Christmas when he started playing as a replacement for Dan Harding at left back, now he wants to make sure he is still in England in 12 months time and still at Ipswich.
Sito: "Waking up in the morning used to be a miserable experience, I knew I would be going into work, but just to train with the youngsters.
"The first team would be in one area of the training ground, and I would be in another.
"It is something I don't want to go through again. I don't want that feeling any more.
"In football you always have a chance, I love it in England with the extra passion and, if given a football wish, it would be to still be at Portman Road in 12 months time. Over the next four months or so I will be doing all I can to achieve this.
"If I can stay in the team that will be a plus for me, but in football you never know what is around the corner."
