No Burnley Bid

Town chairman David Sheepshanks has denied reports suggesting Town are about to sell striker Alan Lee to Burnley. It was reported yesterday that Burnley wanted Lee to replace Andy Gray who has joined Charlton Athletic for £1.5 million, the reports suggested that £900,000 of that had been bid for Lee but Town chairman David Sheepshanks says that's not the case.

Mr Sheepshanks: Sheepshanks, speaking ahead of this afternoon's Championship match at Blackpool, said: "We haven't had a bid from Burnley and one has certainly not been accepted. There is a lot going on but Alan Lee is still our player."
