Town Eyeing Robson?

Town have reportedly watched Dundee United midfielder Barry Robson, possibly as a plan B if they fail sign David Norris. Town manager Jim Magilton saw the 29-year-old midfielder score a hat-trick for Dundee against Hearts recently and is understood to have been impressed by what he saw and it was expected he was to watch him in Scottish Cup action against Clyde last night but instead Magilton was watching Town's U18 side beat Watford in the FA Youth Cup.

Robson has been capped once by the Scottish national side is also reportedly a target of Portsmouth, Celtic, Burnley, Hearts and Wolves. He is contracted to Dundee United until 2011.

In another Scottish based, if slightly dubious rumour, The Old Firm have reportedly shown an interest in signing Danny Haynes.
