Town manager Jim Magilton was delighted to see his Town side beat West Brom at Portman Road earlier today and keep Town's push for the top-six on course. Jim: "I am very proud of my players after that display. They were excellent and proved themselves against the best team in the league, after the first 15 minutes when they had a couple of chances, my players more than matched West Brom and the second-half performance was as good as any we have had at Portman Road for a while.

"The players worked hard and showed a real desire and if you have those two characteristics then you can go a long way and the players proved that.

"It was important that we put in a good performance after the defeat at Coventry and it was always going to be a big test for us but I had every confidence in my players and they responded fantastically well.

"It keeps the home run going and it's going to take something special for my players to let go of it.

"It was a terrific goal from David Wright and it gave us the lead I felt we deserved.

"On the other flank, Sito did superbly well and showed a real enthusiasm for the game."
