Town manager Jim Magilton was delighted with Town's 3-1 win against Leicester City on Tuesday night and he also believes the red card was harsh. Jim: "I have every sympathy with Leicester. It didn't look like a penalty and the red card was harsh as well, If they are appealing over the red card then we will support them but that said, I thought we controlled the game.

"The players showed terrific character and I was pleased with the response we got after Saturday's defeat at Charlton.

"We passed the ball went and with better finishing, may have had more than the three goals.

"The penalty was obviously crucial and Alan showed plenty of character to stand up and take it after Saturday's miss and we were always in control from there.

"It was a big win for us, that's for sure. We needed to get the three points to stay on track for where we want to be and I thought in the end, we were comfortable."
