Town's streak without an away win that stretches back to March looked like it was going to end last night when they had a 2-0 lead against Burnley after only 9 minutes. Sylvain Legwinski gave Town the lead after 7 minutes when he headed home Owen Garvan's corner. Alan Lee gave Town a 2-0 just 2 minutes later when he headed past Kiraly from Billy Clarke's cross.

Burnley halved the deficit 2 minutes after that when Kyle Lafferty's shot found the back of the net.

It was 2-2 with 30 minutes of the game left when Andy Gray fired home from the edge of the box. Town thought they got a 3rd goal in final minutes but Pablo Counago was called offside.
