Bent To Spurs?

Local media is reporting that former Town striker Darren Bent is in talks with Tottenham about the possibility of sealing a £16 million switch to White Hart Lane. The 23-year-old rejected a move to West Ham last week after failing to agree personal terms with the east London club after they had agreed a £17 million fee with Charlton.

If the deal is as reported with £13 million being paid up front and a further £3million in bonuses Town would land just over £2million now and just under £2.7 million in total.
