PMM: Norwich – Town

Town manager Jim Magilton says the draw with Norwich at Carrow Road earlier today was a fair result.

Jim: “Overall it was a fair result, they were quicker out of the blocks than us and that disappointed me. We gave them too much space and they made us pay. It took us 25 minutes or so to get in the game.

 

“We needed half-time to change things around and credit to the players because we were much better in the second-half. We passed the ball a bit better, competed and deserved the goal.

 

“I'm pleased for Wrighty. I gave him an ear-bashing at half-time and we kept a bit tighter on Darren Huckerby after the break.

 

“We didn't expect the goal to come from him but he made a good run, persevered and perhaps got a bit of fortune as well.

 

“The game petered out a little after that. They had a couple of chances, so did we but neither side did enough to take the three points.”
