Town are considering appealing against the red card Alex Bruce received against Derby County earlier today.
Bruce, along with Derby goalkeeper Stephen Bywater, was sent off for an incident involving Bywater but Bruce is adamant he did nothing wrong.
Alex: “I thought it was a very harsh decision, I didn't commit any offence or raise my hands in any way so I don't understand why I was sent-off.
“I know I had problems with my disciplinary record earlier in the season but I have worked very hard to sort that out and I feel hard done by on this occasion.”
Town manager Jim Magilton added: “My first reaction was that it was harsh and I will have another look at it over the weekend, if Alex has been out order, I will fine him but if we think we have a case for appeal, we will do that.”
