Fab After New Deal

Town defender Fabian Wilnis is hoping to be offered a new deal at Portman Road sometime next month.

The 36-year-old has been a bit part player for Town this season with Alex Bruce and David Wright both being preferred at right back but he is hoping to be offered something next month.

Fabian: 的t's been like that for the last three or four years and each time the manager has approached me in April.

的 would think it will be the same this year when the manager starts to look at next season.

的 will certainly be looking to carry on playing, whether that be here or somewhere else. I feel very fresh and want to play as long as possible.

的f I was struggling to cope at this level then I would have no hesitation in calling it a day but that's not the case. The hunger is still there. I feel just as excited about playing now as I did when I was 18.

的 still want to push myself on the pitch and feel that I can do a job and I think that has shown on the pitch when I have played this season.
