Fans Should Buy Club

Singing The Blues message boarder IP1_Massives says Town fans should club together and buy the club.

A few weeks ago Town manager Jim Magilton was presented with a cheque worth £750,000 from Britannia Building Society, that £750,000 was the extra interest that fans had earned with the save and support account.

A press release from Britannia said that 17,700 fans had a total of £92.8 million in the account, that’s 17,700 fans with large savings. So why don't those fans get together and form a holding company to buy the club, they won’t need to invest all their savings but about £500 per head which would give about £8.8million pounds not enough to wipe out the debt which is a shame but it is enough to give the club a stable footing on which to build a side that can get to the premiership and then when the club has reached the promised land with honey milk and large cheques from SKY Sports the fans can get their money back with an amount of interest.

UEFA is backing ownership of clubs by fans so why don’t we become one of the clubs owned by fans?
