Wright Takes Blame

Town defender David Wright has taken full responsibility for Wolves’ winning goal against Town on Tuesday night.

Wright’s poor back pass allowed Wolves’ Stephen Ward to somehow score from perhaps the worlds tightest angle, but the defender has admitted his error.

David: “It was a big error by me, my mistake cost us. And I hold my hands up and take the blame.

“It was a poor pass and left Lewis Price a long way short. You cannot make individual mistakes like that.

“The result was tough to accept as the team worked so hard. We need a slice of luck - a break. We need three points.”
