Ian Miller is hoping to break into the Town first team when he returns from his loan spell at League Two side Boston.

The 23-year-old is heading into a second month on-loan at York Street, where he has been a regular for Boston since arriving on-loan from Town.

 

Ian: “Boston want me back and the gaffer is happy to let me go for another month.

 

“I've enjoyed my time at Boston and it's provided me with regular first-team football. It's part of the learning process for me and I feel that I am gaining experience all the time.

 

“I've played against a lot of senior pros, players to have played at the highest level and you soon learn that you have to look after yourself.

 

“I've made mistakes, like everyone but I feel I am moving forward and it's made me determined to really push on for a place in the first-team squad here when I come back to Ipswich.

 

“I said when I first came here that I wasn't here to make up the numbers. I am using the year's contract I have here to go on and win myself a longer stay at the Club.”
