Bury Out

Bury have been kicked out of the FA Cup for fielding an eligible player in their second round tie against Chester.

Steve Turnbull was on-loan to Bury from Hartlepool at the time but had not been cleared by the FA in time to take part in the game earlier this month.

 

Town will now travel to Chester’s The Saunders Honda Stadium (Deva Stadium) for the 3rd round game unless Bury are successful with their appeal which will be heard on the 28th of this month.
