Town fans have picked shirt number 3 as Town’s home shirt for the next two seasons.
The shirt which looks very similar to the shirt worn by Town in the early 80’s got more then 50% of the on-line voting.
The shirt Town fans can pre-order from the 10th of February may differ slightly from the ones displayed in Planet Blue shops, Town’s head of retail, Elaine Hull saying: “We had a terrific response from fans and the number of votes was an all-time record.
“We're looking forward to working with the team at Mitre to produce what will be a fantastic kit for next season. Each of the samples were, as always, prototypes - the winning shirt, for example, had the pinstripe printed on to the fabric rather than woven into it. We will now work with Mitre on final fabric selection and on refining the design detail.”
