Haynes Eyeing Norwich Goal

Town striker Danny Haynes is hoping to continue his goal scoring run against Norwich when they visit Portman Road this month.

Haynes has scored in all but one game he has played against Norwich and added two in yesterdays reserve game at the training ground, he is now hoping to get the chance of another at first team level when the canaries visit Portman Road on the 19th.

 

Haynes: “I always seem to manage to get a goal against them. It's ironic because I went there for a trial after I left the Charlton academy and before I came to Ipswich.

 

“I think I've played against Norwich about six times and only failed to score in one of them. Hopefully I can catch the manager's eye in time for the first-team game against them.”
