Garvan Takes Next Step

Town midfielder Owen Garvan took the next step in his recovery, playing 70 minutes for Town’s reserves against Norwich.

Although he is still a long way off a first team return but it is still a big step for Owen who has been out if action for the past 6 months with a bout of shingles followed post viral syndrome.

 

Owen: “It's been great to been playing again and it went okay against Norwich, it's another step in the right direction and I enjoyed the game but I also know that I still have a long, long way to go yet before I'm ready for first-team football.”

 

Danny Haynes got two and Darryl Knights got one as Town’s reserves beat Norwich 3-0.
