Macken Misses Two

Town striker Jon Macken will miss the next two games at least with a hamstring injury he picked up against Southend.

Jon was replaced just 30 minutes into the game at Roots Hall on Saturday after pulling up with a hamstring problem which scans have shown is only a minor strain but he will still miss the games against Luton and Plymouth, but he hopes to be back against Burnley.

 

Jon: “Obviously it's disappointing to miss a couple of games but I'm relieved it's only a minor problem, I feared the worst initially but hopefully it means being out for only 10 days or so. If the hamstring heals up okay I could be back for the Burnley match next weekend.”
