Injuries For Trio

Town trio Lewis Price, Jon Macken and Mark Noble all picked up injuries during Town’s 3-1 win against Southend.

Price lasted just 8 minutes on the pitch after a clash with Southend striker Matt Harrold, Jon Macken lasted just 22 minutes before he was replaced by Billy Clarke and Mark Noble lasted until the 75th minute before he was replaced by Simon Walton.

 

Town manager Jim Magilton: “Jon has a hamstring injury but we're not too sure how bad it is at the moment, Mark had to come off at the end and we'll have a look at him on Sunday while Lewis took a knock on his hip.

 

“Hopefully that was just a knock and not too serious but we will leave the medical team to look at all of them. Obviously it's a concern though.”
