Clarke: Result Is What Matters

Town striker Billy Clarke says that all that matters from today is that Town got all three points against Southend.

Clarke got the first of Town’s three goals at Roots Hall earlier today but he says that’s not important but the result was.

 

Billy: “We played well for periods but it was all about getting the result and we fully deserved the win.

 

“It will give everyone a confidence boost and hopefully we can move on from here and put a good run together.

 

“It's always good to score goals, that's what I'm in the team for.

 

“I don't care whether I get them after coming off the bench or from the start, I just want to keep scoring for the team and help the Club climb the table.”
