STB brings you team news, manager previews and betting odds ahead of Towns game against Southend tomorrow (KO 3:00pm).

Town captain Jason De Vos is a minor doubt for the game with a dead leg. Gavin Williams and Owen Garvan are still out, Mark Noble can play despite picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Preston as the ban takes 7 days to come into affect.

Jim Magilton is expected to make changes to the team that lost to Preston 3-2 in midweek with Shane Supple expected to replace Lewis Price in goal while Gary Roberts could start.

Town manager Jim: no pre-match thoughts currently available.

Town squad: Dean Bowditch, Alex Bruce, Billy Clarke, Darren Currie, Jason De Vos, Daniel Harding, Alan Lee, Sylvain Legwinski, Jon Macken, Richard Naylor, Mark Noble, Jaime Peters, Lewis Price, Matt Richards, Gary Roberts, Shane Supple, Simon Walton, Fabian Wilnis.

Southend could be without defender Spencer Prior who took a kick to the shin against Burnley in mid-week if he fails to pass fit it is expected that Peter Clarke will replace him, Jamal Campbell-Ryce, while Efe Sodje and Che Wilson are also doubts but Lee Bradbury is out.

Southend boss Steve Tilson: “They will probably say it is a good time to play us and we will say it is a good time to play them.

“But the League is so tight that it doesn't really matter when you play each other.

“Hopefully it will be another full house on Saturday and the support will be as amazing as we received up at Burnley," he said.

“It was a long way to go on a Tuesday night and they deserved a result because they did us proud.

“They need to get behind us again at home though and become our twelve man to help us win.”
