Sympathy For Robinson

Town goalkeeper Lewis Price has expressed his sympathy for Paul Robinson after he has taken lots of blame for England’s defeat against Croatia.

Robinson had a fantastic first half performance against Croatia but most of that has been wiped from memory after he missed a kick which lead to Gary Neville scoring an own goal.

Price: “I have not seen the goal yet but everyone tells me that the ball hit a divot, it's every goalkeeper's nightmare but it's one of those things happens from time to time.

“With England 1-0 down when it happens, he seems to have taken the blame for the defeat but Paul's a fantastic 'keeper and a fantastic kicker of the ball and sounds as though it's just an unfortunate incident.”
