Gav Gutted

Town midfielder Gavin Williams is gutted at the prospect of missing the next month of football because of a groin injury.

Williams will have a hernia operation later this week which will force him to miss about a month of playing, something he is upset about.

Gavin: “The groin has been sore for a while now and after exploring all the possibilities, I've been told I need an operation, it's really disappointing. I'm gutted to be honest because I was enjoying my football and things were going pretty well.

“I hate missing games anyway but having been out injured at the end of last season, it is even more frustrating to lose out again.

“I just hope the surgery goes well and I can get back on the training ground as soon as I can.”

Gavin would have missed Town’s game against West Brom in two weeks as he has picked up five yellow cards this season.
