Forster Set For Tigers

Town striker Nicky Forster looks set to complete a move to Hull City just before the transfer window closes tonight.

Forster was Town’s leading scorer last season with 7 goals, despite missing a large part of the campaign with knee problems.

 

Town manager Jim Magilton: “Nicky Forster is in talks with Hull City and we have a few irons in the fire about bringing new players in. We had hoped more would have been done today but we keep working and looking to make things happen.”  

 

Hull manager Phil Parkinson: “Sometimes it takes time to get the player that you want and I've been looking at Nicky for a long time now, I know him from my time at Reading, and Ipswich certainly haven't been keen to let him go. It's a deal we've been working on for some time now.”

 

The fee agreed between Town and Hull is believed to be around £250,000.
