Town striker Dean Bowditch says he is delighted to have ended a spell of nearly two years with out a first team goal.
Dean scored Town’s third goal against QPR last night to end a run of 41 games with out a goal.
Dean: “Scoring has come as a big relief because the run was getting me down, I feel a weight has been lifted off me now but the most important thing was the result.
“We passed Rangers off the park at times and it's a great boost for everyone at the Club, especially the manager who has worked so hard to get things right.
“We have practised passing the ball constantly all week and closing the opposition down and it worked a treat.
“I don't think anyone can argue with the fact that we deserved to win the game and now it's important that we build on that performance.”
