According to one of this mornings tabloid newspapers Town manager Jim Magilton wants to sign former Town defender John McGreal.

The 34-year-old defender still has this season left to run on the contract he signed at Burnley when he joined in 2004 on a free transfer so would cost Town a fee. McGreal has yet to play for Burnley this season but he has managed 83 appearances for Burnley since his move.

 

Elsewhere Derby County are the latest club to reportedly show an interest in Town striker Sam Parkin.
