Clapham Rejects Town

Former Town defender Jamie Clapham rejected a three year from Town in order to join Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Clapham was released by Birmingham at the end of last season following their relegation from the premiership, he has had trials with Sheffield United and Wolves and earlier this week signed a two year at Molineux rather then a three year one back at Portman Road.

 

Town manager Jim Magilton: “We offered Jamie a contract but he has decided to join Wolves instead which is disappointing for us but we move on and could still have someone else in soon.”
