Next seasons admission prices have been announced by General Manager Tony Kniveton at a time when the future of the club is not yet known.

The biggest change from last season is the cost to sit down. It has always been the case where it is more expensive to stick your bum on a seat than it is to stand. But next season it will be just as cheap to sit as it is to stand.

The cost to stand/sit has been set at £10, which is £1 cheaper than the end of last season. At the start of the season the cost to stand was £10 but after a couple of month the price was increased to £11 after the board of directors realised their budgets for the season were incorrect.

Under 12's will no longer be able to enter the ground free of charge. There will now be a charge of £1 for the privilege of seeing the Shaymen in action.

The season ticket prices have also being announced, and they are value for money. If purchased before the 1st of July there is a 10% discount.

There are 22 teams in the Conference which means 21 home games a season.

If an adult was to purchase a season ticket before the 1st of July deadline it would cost him £148.50.

21 games at £10 is £210. So a season ticket would save £61.50 which is surely the best offer we have had for many a year.

The main talking point though is whether people are prepared to take the risk and pay for a season ticket at this moment in time, especially when we don't know if come next season we will have a use for our season tickets or not.

The future of the club is not yet know and so will people be prepared to take the risk knowing they might be throwing their money away?
