The 2002 World Cup is to be held in Korea and Japan and we are giving you a chance to prove your football knowledge (or lack of) in the Shaymen.org World Cup Prediction League.

It is easy to join and easy to play and the winner will receive:

• A cheque for £25 donated by Martensite

• A trophy

• On-line recognition for their football brains.

For the first round, the matches that you will be making predictions on will be the England and Ireland matches. We will stick with both teams throughout the tournament.

There will also be bonus matches such as the semi-final games and of course the final where bonus points are available whether England or Ireland are there or not.
