Fitting Finale

It was a big occasion. Final game of the season and Mike Rayer's remarkable 500th in charge of the Blues. The stage was set for a big Blues win and it was duly delivered but not without a  tremendous fight from bottom club London Scottish who led at half-time.  

Dean Adamson scored four tries as the Blues finally ran out 62-21 winner to finish the season in fifth place.

Scottish led 21-17 at half time after an end to end first half. However, Blues got staonger as Scottish got weaker and it was one way traffic after the  break as Rayer's boys delivered him 45 points.

We now face almost six months without league rugby . That can't be good for the game at this level.
