Spectators will be allowed at Lady Bay this Sunday as the Blues travel for the final away game of this truncated season.

There are three changes from the starting XV which went down to high flying Trailfinders last week.

Up front Ollie Newman is at blindside, and in the backs Elijah Niko and Josh Gillespie come in with Tom Litchfield called up to England U20s.

Tappers is injred but there is a welcome return for Corrie Barrett on the bench.  He was injured on the first day of the season.

Really hope we can finish this season with two wins.

Feel that team has improved considerably from Saracens onwards, but need to get a couple more results to show for it.

Nottingham 22 - Bedford 20. What does that result tell us about how much progress this squad has actually made? On the positive side, we did at least come away with one point.
Whatever the result next Saturday, Ampthill will finish higher in the league for the second successive season - they will hold the ‘bragging rights’ to being the better club in Bedfordshire.

Not a Nottingham or Bedford supporter, I went to the match and it was spoilt by a one sided picky ref with a blind eye to the Nottingham 3 who was boring, dropping his shoulder and general misbehaving.

The starting Bedford front row looked very weak, the Saints had better hope their players improve. The Bedford THP was especially poor and needs to lose a few stone.

Dull first half turned into a much better second half. The first half was half at least scrums.

This is a funny season and with no relegation and promotion not possible for either side, it was pretty much a practice match.

I hope Saints have a few better prospects as the ones on show today were not Championship standard.
