On a mudbath of a pitch the Blues continued their 2020 rally-  running the second top team close and returning with a deserved losing bonus point.

The Pirates ran out 18-15 winners but it could have gone either way.

Both sides deserve credit for putting on an entertaining game with Dan Temm crossing for Blues in the first half.

Will Hooley kep us in touch with his trusty boot before Matt Worley clinched the bonus point with a try deep into in the second half.

That inspired a late flurry from Blues. Sadly, Pirates kep us out but we can look forward with confidence to the visit of Jersey Reds this Saturday.
