Mike Rayer summed up on the club's excellent new official site when he said that Trailfinders "ran over the top"  of his side in our Champinship Cup defeat..

The visitors ran in nine tries scoring 57 points against our 26 with our consolation being a try bonus point - together with a crowd of almost 2,000 enjoying the end of summer.

Whether we are in for a long winter after this result is doubtful. Trailfinders will be up there challenging once again, while out new faces will take time to settle in.

On the day we didn't turn pressure into enough points while our visitors took their opportunities.

Lessons we can can learn befoe the league starts.
