Lots of interest in the Blues side which takes on a strong Trailfinders outfit at a sultry Goldington Road on the first Saturday of the season in the Championship Cup.

Former Wasps back row Joe Atkinson is just one of half a dozen or so new faces who will be looking to  better last season's third place. However, we will have to wait for a few weeks for the league opener at a decimated (financially and playing wise) Carnegie on October 13th.

The other new lads include  centre Oskar Hirskyj-Douglas, scrukm half Grayson Hart, fly half Sam Leeming, front rows Joe Wrafter Robbie Smith and Dan Temm., Henry Paul  and Karl Garside are on the bench.
