Mike Rayer will be hoping that the B&I provides some inspiration to his strangely misfiring squad . Trailfindfers visit this weekend and doubtless both sides will be using the game to give up and coming talent its chance ...
There's all kinds of festive fun going on to try to boost the traditionally low crowd for B&I games , but there will be some serious stuff going on on the pitch.
Ealing are third inb the eklague while we are second bottom, and despite what may or may not eventually happen to liquidated London Welsh, that's an uncomfortable place for the Blues to sit.
In the B&I pool our visitors are currently top of Pool 5 on 9 points from two games while we are third on 5 points behind Carnegie who have six.

Dear Santa can we please have someone who could teach our players how to organise an win a line out…….and why do all teams have to have a ‘pow wow’ for each line out…… what do players do doing training?
Defence continues to be a worry. Three tries to one. Good kicking from the tee.
Ealing had an excellent spoiler in the lineout. Read the throw well just to stop Bedford winning the ball. Throws were accurate and jumpers up well but Ealing's jumpers just got in front to tap the ball and change its flight path.
Credit for not letting heads drop after going 14 down in the first fifteen. Showed character.
Probably fair result and one for the neutrals.
Worry for next week's rematch away. Hopefully keep the same squad as seemed to gel as game went on.
