Man of the Match

The next Championship game will not be until January 30th when another band of exiles visit Goldington Road.

London Welsh will be the visitors that day -  if the game is only half as entertaining as the New Year's encounter with Scottish we won't be complaining.

More than 4,000  proved that live games on TV don't stop proper supporters from turningtup, and they were richly enertained as Blues won 31-19.

We got off to a great start with a bonus point secured in the first half thanks to Mike Howard, Mark Flanagan, Nick Fenton-Wells and Michael Le Bourgeois.

F-W got his second try after the break  and was  Sky's Man of the Match. 

Great stuff which saw us start 2016 in fourth place just four points behind second placed Doncaster Knights,  but a seemingly unassailable 11 points adrift of leaders Bristol.

Welsh are down in eighth place. Before we meet them we have two B&I fixtures. We are in Ulster on Friday Januaryt 15th and host Scarlets the following Saturday.
