Mike Rayer has his work cut out to persuade the faithful that the Blues can compete bhis season after the eight try rugby lesson handed out by Rotherham ....

The Blues showed little passion or aggression. With almost half the team changed from last season supporters were expecting something new for the first home game, but it was as lack lustre as most of the last campaign.

We were given a leaflet as we arrived outlining the commercial future of the club and confirming as new regime will have to be be in place from May 2016.

Can we wait that long?
