The perils of getting immersed in the dual registration system have become apparent with the recall of four players by Sarries who have some big games this weekend. But we have one as well as Nottingham visit ...
Sarries are quite in their rights to recall Scott Spurling, Tom Jubb, Matt Hankin and Eoin Sherif,f but it's bad news for Blues who will also be missing Ollie Dodge, Darren Fox and Dan Seal through injury.
It's the big clubs who benefIt most from the the DR rule which means they can carry big squads and that "smaller" clubs can never get bigger. If every Championship club was stopped from taKing DR players it would level the playing field and allow the second tier clubs to develop their own fully committed squads.
The good news is that out of last week's walking wounded only Le Booj is still unfit which means Don Barrell, Tom Armes and Mark Atkinson will all figure.
