This was the turning point our season needed. Nobody else has beaten London Welsh this season and nobody can say it wasn't deserved ...
Welsh could have drawn the game if a last ditch conversion had gone over but, it has to be said, justice was done.
It was a victory based on defence with a brace of tries for Pat Tapley and one from Jake Sharp.
It looked as though Tapley had got his hat trick when he deived on a kick through from the Booj but the ref ruled that the Welsh cover had got there first. Not sure a video ref would have agreed with him.
Nevetheless we won a pulsating game which went down to the wire, and we must take great heart from a superb performance. Off to Galway this week to take on Connacht ...

Congratulations BEDFORD. Unfortunately i couldn't get to Goldington Road on Saturday, but from what i have been told you did deserve your WIN, well done for that.
It had to happen some time, and as we LONDON WELSH always know going to your ground is never ever an easy task, which of course Saturday has just proved that to be true. Perhaps it will do us some good, because you always know or think you know that eventually you will lose.
I'm sure i'm not alone when i say that your form so far this season has been bewildering and so unlike the BEDFORD BLUES we all know and love.
Good luck to you guys for the rest of the season, although not on the 23rd of March if you know what i mean! PADDYTAF.
It's a bit early to call it a' turning point'BB. It will only be that if Blues back it up with win after win after win against all-comers otherwise it is only a very good performance on the day. But it was a very good performance and I very much hope that it does turn out to be a turning point.
