Cresswell Delighted with Town Efforts

Town defender and goalscorer against Wolves today Aaron Cresswell says he is delighted by the work-rate of his fellow players.

Speaking to the Official Club Website following this afternoons 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wandrers in the Championship, the former Tranmere Rovers full back said: “I thought we were the better team over the 90 minutes and we worked hard, never letting them have a minute on the ball.

“We took our chances when we had them and the goals killed off the game. It was unlucky for Chops not to make it 3-0 at the end there too.

“It’s not often I’ll score with my right-foot but it found the target and that’s all that matters! But at the end of the day it doesn’t matter who scores as it’s a team game and our performance today certainly merited the three points.”
