Campbell: Winning a Great Feeling

On loan striker DJ Campbell says this afternoon's 1-0 win against Birmingham City at St Andrews in the Championship gave him a great feeling.

The 30 year old who is on loan from Queens Park Rangers scored his third goal for the club which secured Town's first win in 13 games in new boss Mick McCarthy's first game in charge.

Speaking to the Official Club Website, the former Birmingham forward said: “The lads have worked amazingly hard for the three points today and it’s a great feeling.

"Things haven’t quite gone for us recently and obviously it was disappointing when Paul (Jewell) left. But the new gaffer has come in along with TC (Terry Connor) and they’re both great coaches.

“We haven’t felt like this for a long time and it’s an amazing feeling. Now it’s time for us to kick on and start moving up the table.”
