Toon eye unsettled Argentinean.

Possible?

In case you have been on Mars or stuck in Sunderland recently, you may be aware that there is a civil war going on in the Ukraine. And this unpleasantness has made Argentinean striker Facundo Ferreyra a tad reluctant to return to his club Shakhtar Donetsk.

This has reportedly led to Newcastle making an enquiry for the player who only joined Shakhtar last summer in a £6m move from Velez Sarsfield.

There is little doubt that we still need a striker and a lad who scored six goals in just 8 games his first season in the Ukraine, and could possibly be available on a season long loan, with a view to a permanent deal, could very well suit Newcastle very nicely.

However, there is a possibility that because of the conflict, a few of their players may be available at bargain prices and Ferreyra will most probably be one of them, the lad looks like he has the potential to be something special and if this turns out to be true, he could turn out to be a steal.
