Strum Graz midfielder Anel Hadzic, is being heavily linked with a move to Tyneside according to reports in his home country of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The defensive midfielder, who only has a year left on his contract, is thought to be available for about 2 million, and while it’s not a position that particularly needs strengthening, like say for instance the striking position, it would represent, more bodies coming into a threadbare squad.
With Debuchy as good as gone, and Moussa Sissoko, heavily tipped to follow him out of the door, replacements are in more desperate need than ever.
The player has been quoted as saying that a deal could be done early next week.
