My step-father once described the Italian penalty area, as a combination of RADA and the Bermuda triangle. Mysterious things happen all the time, often without explanation, but occasionally they get it right, and should at least receive an academy award of some sort, or failing that a penalty.

This is how view the Sunday papers, probably unlikely, maybe made up, but every now and again actually right:

 

Sunday Mirror and various. Newcastle joins the race for Hull captain Curtis Davies.

 

Express: Remy desperate to join Arsenal.

 

La Provence:  Newcastle and Liverpool in for Andre Ayew.

 

Chronicle:  Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa off to Marseille.

 

Express: Santon to either Roma or AC Milan

 

Corrie della Sera: Santon to remain at Newcastle, Krul to AC Milan.

 

La Gazzetta: Krul to remain at Newcastle, Santon to AC Milan.

 

Rest of the tabloids, Newcastle to become the first to sign a Martian, Chelsea cover a player in gold and diamonds and sell him to man city to water the pitch, Mike Ashley to undertake major wallet removal operation.
