It has been confirmed this afternoon that Newcastle United midfielder Chiek Tiote will be sidelined for up to three games with a hamstring injury. Tiote who has been captaining the side in the absence of Fabricio Coloccini will definitely miss games against Chelsea and Tottenham and adds growing pressure to manager Alan Pardew who has an increasing number of injury concerns.
Yoan Gouffran (muscle), Fabricio Coloccini (knee), Gael Bigirimana (ankle), Papiss Cisse (back), Gabriel Obertan (knee) and Ryan Taylor (knee) are all out through injury though Obertan could be fit for the bench.
